“Powerhouse of a trio with incredible songwriting” - -Kyle Latham, Ol Doris, Hutchie
“...you'll hear powerpop influence...strong punk roots in “Off The Ground” and “Bad Butterflies.” You’ll also find sweet melodies in “Standing On The Gold” and in “Nadia.” The last song “Arteries and Interstates” gets more adventurous with a quite intense end. A good American rock album! /Laurent C. – veglam.com ”

Tim McBride & the Divide

Olympia Power Pop RocknRoll

With over three decades in the independent music underground, Tim McBride is a seasoned musician whose dedication to rock and roll, punk, and powerpop has left an indelible mark on the music scene. As the frontman for various punk bands, including Olympia’s beloved Hook & the Daggers and the baseball-themed Ramonescore outfit Warning Track, McBride has consistently pushed the boundaries of genre, crafting a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly modern.

In 2018, McBride launched his latest venture, Tim McBride & The Divide, with the release of their debut album. The project showcased his songwriting prowess and ability to connect with audiences through relatable themes and infectious melodies. Now, as anticipation builds for their new album, Off The Ground, set to release in 2024, McBride is poised to captivate fans old and new with a collection of songs that promise to resonate deeply.

As a music lifer, McBride has released over 20 albums, each reflecting his evolution as an artist and his unwavering passion for music. From the gritty sounds of The Deep Wile to the energetic vibes of The Snubs, his versatility as a performer and songwriter has garnered him a loyal following and critical acclaim.

Off The Ground represents the culmination of years of experience, creativity, and a relentless pursuit of artistic expression. The Divide consists of Ira Peterson (from Olympia Pop Punks Dying Days)  on Drums, and Matt Mueller (Seattle’s DIY punks Steelhorse) on Bass. With the release of Off the Ground , look out for Northwest shows and west coast tour dates in summer 2025.
